There are two ways of doing partial repetitions, one type begins from the bottom and ends just before lockout or anywhere in between and the other type starts from the fully contracted position and ends short before full stretch or anywhere in between .The former is recommended in this program because of the stretch which has been proven to induce additional muscle growth stimulation. Partial reps in this program are done at the beginning of the set and are followed in most cases by BURNS which are partials done rapidly and which cover a distance of a few inches these are done after partials thus partials become Burns as soon as it becomes impossible to do a full partial. Partials with Burns take intensity to another level, a level where muscles are totally and completely fatigued.
