How To Develop Deltoid Muscle
deltoid muscle- At first glance the shoulders appear a small simple muscle and relative to other body parts they are, but their small size hides away a truly complex muscle, a muscle that is used in every upper body movement, from picking up a pen, to carrying groceries, the shoulders always lend a hand (no pun intended)
The shoulders are also called the deltoids and are composed of three basic heads.
The deltoid muscle is divided into three parts. The front delts, the side delts, and the posterior delts. For most, shoulders are a seemingly impossible body part to develop. And if they were not who would not want theirs to grow some more. Fact is for most the deltoid muscle are a very difficult muscle to develop, for three simple possibly overlooked reasons
1.) Being involved in every upper body movement they are constantly working and never get any rest, as well one could think of their constant everyday movements as mini-repetitions, it goes without saying that heavy training combined with volume training (lots of sets) is not going to provide any substantial growth, also remember that whenever you do any chest exercises, back exercises or even arm training you involve the use of the shoulders, as such if you train your upper body more than once a week you are actually training your delts, which means they never recuperate and thus they will never grow. Despite this the majority of weight trainers ignore these facts, blindingly believing that lots of sets with heavy weight will make a muscle grow, its not hard to see why they never make any progress whatsoever. Heavy training is essential, but remember you can train hard (intensely) or long (lots of sets) but you cant do both, its a fact that nature has put before us, and its also a fact that hard training is the only way to stimulate a muscle. Be smart, short intense (20-40 training sessions) workouts is all it takes for growth in the deltoid muscle to be stimulated.
